Quarter Plate Daguerreotype of Elderly Couple

This Quarter Plate Dag is in excellent condition. The details in the clothing and in their faces are remarkable. I am always intrigued by the images of older individuals. This couple would have been born around 1800, or before. Interesting thought to ponder. The horizontal swipes that are on the scan do not show up on the plate in person.
