Jielde Articulated Lamp
The Jielde Lamp was created in 1950 in the Paris area as a factory lamp. Grown tired of searching for a reliable light to equip his own machine-tools, Jean-Louis Domecq designed and made the articulated standard Jielde lamp. In 1953 the Jieldé firm was born, the firm's name coming from the creator's initials. This lamp has been rewired and a new iron base added. The lamp retains its original color with just enough surface wear to be interesting. The base is 8 1/2" in dia. The shade is 8" in dia. Each arm measures 16" from contact point to contact point. Overall height is 34" tall. (sold)
