Bottle Cap Baskets

This is a great pair of folk art bottle cap baskets made in the 1930s or '40s. The bottle caps have been tightly worked around small glass jars and look to have been made by the same hand. The colors of the caps have mellowed well over time. The taller basket measures 6 1/4" in height with a 4" dia. base. The other basket is 8 1/4" long by 4 1/4" in dia. by 3" tall.
