Bull Windmill Weight

This stately windmill weight was made by the Simpson Windmill & Machine Co. of Fairbury, Nebraska. This form is often referred to as the "Fairbury Bull." They have a strong folk art quality and date from the early 20th century. This weight is in mint condition and has a great surface. It looks to have the original black over red polychrome.
