    Devil Head Porcelain Stickpin
I have never seen anything quite like this Devil stickpin. Is it a rare Halloween item from the turn of the century, or a novelty item for young men to scare young girls with? It has a hand-painted porcelain head very much like a Royal Bayreuth Devil's head. Another interesting thing is the tiny hand-blown light bulb that is attached to an even tinier electric wire. I can only assume at one time the wire was attached to an early battery that would fit in a vest pocket. You can see on the back of the pin the tiny loop in the stickpin wire that the electric cord would have wound through. Looks to have been made around 1900 to 1920. The head measures 1 3/8" tall x 1" wide. The pin measures 2 3/8" long. It has 12" of electric cord. Click on images to enlarge. $175.00
