    Tom Blaizer Owl Sculpture
Tom Blaizer was an artist that worked in St. Louis, Missouri during the 1960s thru the 1970s. He was a painter and sculptor, as well as a faux finish artisan. He worked with Clark Graves of Clark Graves Antiques in Clayton on decorating projects. This owl sculpture shows all the whimsy and humor that is often a part of Blaizer's work. The owl has been constructed out of painted and cut tin. The eyes are slices of cut agate stone. The piece has been signed with an applied copper tag stamped "Blaizer" nailed to the top of the wooden plinth. It measures 18 1/2" tall by 9 1/4" deep by 6" wide. The base is 5 1/2" square by 7 3/4" tall. Click on images to enlarge. $ 195.00
